Regular backup policy

Regular backup policies are a feature that keeps a record of the backup work that you're going to do repeatedly, and then automatically runs on a set schedule.

4.3.1 Key settings

• Policy nameIt's a name for a policy of backup.
• PBS Server and data storeThe backup will be saved. PBS Select the server and the data store.
• Target Node (PVE)I'm going to run a regular backup. Proxmox Choose the node.
• Target storage. (PBS Storage)Save the backup: PBS I choose the storing.
• The target. VM / CTI'm going to back up regularly. VM/CT I'm going to choose.
• Running cycle and visionIt's automatically running every day, on a specific date, at a specific time.

4.3.2 How to operate

• Registered policies can be viewed in the list, and can be deleted if necessary.
• When the policy is activated, the backup automatically creates the set cycle.
• Automatic backups can also apply the same verification and follow-up copying procedures as regular backups.
